Hello, and welcome to the Finding Inner Peace Course.
In this course, you’ll discover practical, mindfulness-based skills to develop your connection to inner peace: an inner sense of calm, stability, and confidence that you can return to at any time you need it.
You may be dealing with stressful circumstances, uncertainty amidst the changes in your life, or simply a longing for inner tranquility. Know that you’re not alone—as humans, we all experience these difficulties, and we all seek to feel better. Instead of struggling, we wish that we could rely on our own unshakeable strength and stillness.
Whatever you may be facing or feeling, this course can help you let go of stress, feel more confident, and cultivate a deep sense of calm and peace.
In a world frequently filled with cynical attitudes, we tend to think that looking for “inner peace” simply isn’t realistic—or that it’s possible for some people, but not for ourselves.
Inner peace is not about ignoring everything that’s difficult in life, or floating on an imaginary cloud of bliss. Rather, it is centered on the realization that we can always experience states of presence, acceptance, flow, and joy, even within hard and painful situations.
Tools such as mindfulness meditation, breathing techniques, embracing forgiveness, and letting go of negativity are all shown by scientific research to increase our ability to feel happy, purposeful, and at peace with our lives.
You’ll learn all of these skills and more through the sessions of this course. You’ll practice treating yourself the way you would a friend, healing from shame you may be carrying, and increasing your confidence and strength.
