About UCLA Mindful Awareness Research Center

The Mindful Awareness Research Center (MARC) at UCLA is located in the Semel Institute for Neuroscience and Human Behaviour in the UCLA medical school. The mission is to foster mindful awareness across the lifespan through education and research in order to promote well-being and a more compassionate society. MARC faculty, in collaboration with the UCLA Cousins Center for Psychoneuroimmunology, researches mindfulness interventions, and the teaching staff offers a rich variety of mindfulness classes for the university community, for the Los Angeles community, and beyond through online programming.
